Useful beats impressive
The best systems and ideas make somebody’s real day better. Clever for its own sake is just expensive decoration.
My story
The route runs through warehouses, restaurants, mobility services, European IT operations, automation, managed services, business ownership and a move to Cornwall. Neat five-year plan? Not especially. Useful education? Absolutely.

The short version
Not just whether a system works, but why it fails. Not just whether a customer has been answered, but whether they feel helped. Not just whether an idea sounds exciting, but whether it can survive contact with a Tuesday morning.
That instinct has moved between technology, operations, business, media, hospitality and community service. The tools change. The habit of joining things up does not.

A family of useful ideas
Builds and connects practical commercial ventures and purpose-led projects across technology, media, marketing, AI and physical products.
The through-line
Large organisations showed me the importance of process, evidence and calm coordination. Smaller businesses showed me that the perfect framework means very little if it cannot fit the real day. Managed services brought both worlds together.
Founding ventures added another lesson: eventually somebody has to turn the whiteboard into an actual thing. I rather enjoy being that somebody.
What the timeline changed

Plain words, honest expectations and obvious next steps remove friction and help people move with confidence.
Support works best when the person matters as much as the problem. Listen first, solve carefully and leave things clearer.
Belief becomes visible in service: turning up, doing the unnoticed jobs and using whatever is in your hands to help.
